A mixed media including watercolor, gouache, and graphite on paper by Eugene Grandin (French, 1851 to 1909). The American Packet Ship Mercury. Signed and dated "Eug. Grandin Havre 1854" on the lower right and titled below, the ship shown by an iceberg. N.B. The Mercury was built by Westervelt and McKay and was one of nine packets in the LeHavre line.
